I love translating the world around me into visual forms that resonate with others. I live on an island thirty miles at sea surrounded by natural elements that constantly change, that change me and my work. Iā€™m inspired by the way unforeseen forces work on objects, the shifts in tides, weather and movement of air. The shapes I create reflect this feeling. In my sculpture I try to capture a moment in time, an instant between movement and stillness.

But my work is never still. The simplicity of white serves as a blank canvas for the play of light and shadow. While each piece is a memorial to a moment in time, the movement of light gives them life. I love how shadows become a partner to a piece, how the light changes and the shapes allow each piece to transform. The passage of the sun across the sculpture tells a story of time. It reflects the poetry of seasons, the power of light, and the never-ending beauty of change.
